Position Overview:

We are seeking a FAST GROWING Head of Sales for Japan to lead our sales efforts and drive our growth in our most important market for our global expansion. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and scaling our sales team, developing and executing strategic plans, and achieving ambitious revenue targets. You will work closely with our Chief Business Officer (CBO) to shape the sales strategy and ensure the successful delivery of our solutions to the Japanese market.

1. Job description

  • Leadership & Management: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the Japanese market. Set clear revenue targets and drive initiatives to achieve them.
  • Client Engagement: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities. Provide insights and recommendations to adapt our strategy and stay competitive.
  • Reporting & Forecasting: Monitor sales performance, analyze metrics, and prepare regular reports for the CBO. Adjust strategies as needed to ensure targets are met.

2. Job Requirements

  • Language Skills: Native-level proficiency in Japanese is essential. Fluency in English is highly desirable to facilitate communication with our global team and clients.
  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record in similar position, scaling up a business quickly in the technology or blockchain sector. Experience in managing a sales team and achieving revenue targets.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Networking Abilities: Strong networking skills with a deep understanding of the Japanese business landscape and key industry players.
  • Proactive Mindset: A self-starter with a results-oriented approach. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

3. Benefits

  • Salary: Negotiable according to candidate's ability and experience. Performance review twice a year,  based on work performance and company’s performance;
